A bit more cleaning up

Hello! Welcome back to my corner of the world. You'll notice I posted a new short story, 11th and Perdonar! (You should check it out!) It's my first time doing realistic fiction. No, it's not that long. It'll just take a few minutes!

Like I said, I'm still trying to do a bit of cleaning around here. I haven't updated consistently in a while... And when you neglect something, things get dusty.

Wix isn't designed for writing sites, so it makes things like a lot of text hard to write.

For example, on mobile, some of the newer stories have image then text, and the text doesn't contrast with the background so it's unreadable. That's something I'm working on. Please let me know if you find any other problems!

One thing I might start doing is uploading the stories as dynamic pages which will make everything (hopefully) much smoother!

Alternatively, I could upload them as blog posts, meaning you guys could comment directly on the stories! Let me know if that's something that would interest you.

One other idea I had was adding a type of "Poetry Corner." It could be another way to encourage your interaction. I was thinking people could send me their poems, and I'd put them on the site (with credit, of course) and bi-monthly I could showcase a specific poem/poet! Again, let me know if that sounds like a good idea.

I know it doesn't seem like it, but keeping this site up is a lot of work. I appreciate every bit of feedback I get, it's what keeps me going!

One last note about the site. All the images on here are AI generated. They aren't perfect, and I doubt they'll ever be. I have been getting more into digital art, but I simply don't have enough time for all the images I use here, and it doesn't make sense to hire an artist.

That said, any art I do make will go on here, so again let me know if you want to see more of that!
